The first step in the process of valuing your gems or jewellery is establishing exactly what it is.
Gemmological testing involves observation of the surface and internal characteristics of a gem material and other non-destructive optical and physical tests.
If you want to confirm the identity of a stone, or to know if a diamond is natural or manmade lab grown we can provide a certificate for you.
The cost is only $50 per stone identification on our standard two-week service, no appointment required.
Same-day service is $60 per stone and While-You-Wait is $70- per stone, booking required.
Metal Identification
If you are wanting to know if that old piece of jewellery is a precious metal, we can provide a metal identification.
We use noninvasive X-Ray technology to identify the metal, so that no harm is caused to your jewellery in the process.
The cost for our standard two-week service is $50 per item, no booking required.
Same day service is $60 per item and While-You-Wait service is $70 per item. Bookings required.
If you would like to identify both the metal of the item and the stones is contains then the cost would be $70 per item on our standard two-week service, no appointment required. Our same day service is $85 per item and While-You-Wait service is $100 per item, bookings are required.
