Valuations for Selling
Use the GemLab name and reputation to maximise the price you get for any jewellery you want to sell. Purchasers appreciate our honest assessments and know they will not be mislead by inflated valuations.
We will provide the most cost effective document to suit the type and value of each item. You will only be charged for work that is worthwhile to you.
- Identification Report – This is a photo of the item and statement of the identity of the stones and/or metals. Suitable for less valuable items. $50 to $70 per item.
- Brief Valuation Report – As above but includes a Retail Market Value as well. Suitable for medium value gem set items. $100
- Full Valuation Report – Comprehensive description and photos, plus separate Retail Market Value and Cash Realization Value reports. $150 gem-set, $80 plain gold.
Option 1 or 2 will reassure the purchaser the item is genuine and/or of a particular quality.
Option 3 – The Retail Market Value Report will allow the purchaser to compare with true retail prices, and the separate Cash Realization Report will help you decide whether to sell or not.
The above rates are for our standard one to three week service. Additional fees apply for faster turnaround times as follows.
