When it comes to selling your jewellery, the best place to start is with a detailed and accurate GemLab Sales Valuation. That way both you as the seller and your purchaser can be certain of the items quality.
We will look at your items and advise on the most cost effective document to suit the type and value of each item.
There are three options of reports available
- Identification Report – Suitable for less valuable items. – This is a photo of the item and a statement of the identity of the stones and/or metals. This will reassure the purchaser the item is genuine and of a particular quality but does not include any values.
- Brief Valuation Report - Suitable for medium value items. – This is a photo of the item and a brief description of the item with identification of the stones it contains. This report includes a Retail Market Value (the current value of the item as a second hand item).
- Full Valuation Report – Suitable for high value items. – This has photos, and a comprehensive description of the item and stones it contains, including diamond grading. This report includes a New Comparison Value (what the item would cost brand new), a Retail Market Value (its current value as a second hand item). Then on a separate page, we will give you a Cash Realization report, this is our opinion of what you are likely to achieve in the sale of your item.
GemLab offers the following service options:
- While-you-wait for up to 5 items
- Same-day for up to 10 items
- Our standard service of 2 weeks
Bookings are required for while-you-wait and same-day services. If you are happy to leave your items with us for our standard service you are welcome to just call in to our premises located at 42 Constellation Drive, Rosedale, Auckland.
We are open Monday to Friday 8am to 3.30pm with free onsite parking available.
